After five years of sponsoring the All-In to Fight Cancer Texas Hold’em fundraisers in Charlotte, Technekes will also sponsor the inaugural event in San Francisco this fall.
All-In fundraisers have a unique appeal, because, that’s right — they raise money by playing poker! Really, though, what makes the events so successful is how they appeal to so many audiences in the cancer community, including healthcare providers, patients, and families. Even if you don’t play poker, each event is a party in itself, with live music, raffles, and local foods and brews.
Tickets are now on sale for the San Francisco fundraiser, which will be at Cobb’s Comedy Club, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, with all proceeds going to benefit Family House of San Francisco and St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The recent Charlotte event brought in over 750 players and spectators to raise nearly $200,000. Organizers for the San Francisco event are aiming to raise $100,000. So how can you help?
- Make a straight up donation. (Remember, all proceeds go directly back to the community.)
- Tell your West Coast friends that Technekes is coming to town with All-In. Or, even easier, give us your friends’ email addresses, and we will tell them.
- Talk up All-In on social media, or again, even easier, simply share something from their LinkedIn or Facebook page.
- Support other sponsors and contributors, including our friends The Whisky Dollars and Melonbelly who will perform for free at the San Francisco event.

All-In To Fight Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hosts poker fundraisers in memory of Rob Eubank, who lost his life to cancer in 2011. All proceeds go back to the local cancer community, supporting cancer research, patients, and patients’ families.
