If you’re familiar with the team behind Technekes, then you know that serving our community has always been a top priority. We’ve built bikes for disadvantaged children, held moustache-growing campaigns to raise awareness for men’s health, and donated computers to educational facilities in third world countries. For us, philanthropy is not an afterthought – it’s front and center, every day.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that for the third year in a row, Technekes is sponsoring the All-In to Fight Cancer Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, March 12, 2013, at the Filmore in Charlotte, NC.

The tournament benefits a worthy cause – raising awareness and funds to support the fight against cancer  – and it’s one that hits close to the heart of Technekes. All-In was founded in 2010 with help from our very own Steve Amedio and Scott Miner after their dear friend, Rob Eubank, lost his battle with colon cancer. After just three years, the benefit has grown into something bigger than ever expected, raising more charitable funds than ever imagined.

Last year, All-In brought in more than $40,000, and this year, we’re hoping to double that number. All proceeds will be split between two local organizations – The Go Jen Go Foundation and the Presbyterian Cancer Center Nurse Navigator Program – and with your support, we can reach our fundraising goal. We’re sure of it.

Please take a moment to visit the All-In to Fight Cancer website, where you can buy tickets for this year’s event, read about sponsors, and view pictures of past events.

This March 12, we’ll be All-In To Fight Cancer. Will you?
